Donald R. Smith, Esq.
Mr. Smith has passionately and aggressively represented personal injury and wrongful death victims for 29 years, having previously worked in the field of insurance defense. Mr. Smith’s personal injury areas of practice include automobile, slip-and-fall, premises liability, bicycle, pedestrian, dog bite, and public transportation. Although the majority of Mr. Smith’s practice is focused on advocating and assisting the injured, Mr. Smith still continues to be a zealous and skilled defense attorney, representing clients in the areas of foreclosure defense and plaintiff/defense commercial litigation, including contract disputes, leases, landlord-tenant, transactional and business, franchise, condominium, and DUI defense.
Mr. Smith is originally from Minnesota and moved to Florida with his wife, Cynthia, in 1982. Mr. Smith previously served on the grievance committee for the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and has also served on the Advisory Board of Enterprise National Bank. Mr. Smith has proudly raised 5 adult children, and is active in the community, donating his expertise and services to various charitable and community activities and organizations. Along with coaching youth basketball and developing residential care homes for the mentally and physically handicapped and underprivileged, his most recent project involved the developing and opening of a womens crisis center in West Palm Beach, Florida, a 6 year project.
